Quarterly Youth Masses: These Youth Masses will be hosted by different parishes during the year Enniskillen – December. Lisnaskea—March. Monaghan –June. Carrickmacross---September. If young people in the parish want to take part, contact Mathew McFadden the Diocesan Youth Coordinator.

Students for the Priesthood: There are six students studying for the priesthood in our diocese at this time. There are two studying in the Irish College Rome, and four are studying in St Patricks College Maynooth, County Kildare. I ask you to keep them in your prayers. The work of promoting vocations to the priesthood is an ongoing work which we can never forget. We are to create a culture of vocations in our parishes. “There are vocations to the priesthood, but they are not being encouraged”. We should have this work in our daily prayer.

Do this in Memory: We celebrate this Mass with the Children, Parents of First Communion Children and the Community on Sunday 11th November 2012 in Cradien at 9.30am.

Providing rest and growth for generations of pilgrims from Ireland and beyond, this unique Island of peace was one of Patrick’s first sanctuaries. We invite you to journey here, to rediscover the quietness within, and to go away with a greater sense of hope.

Lough Derg has been offering One Day Retreats since 1992. These appeal largely to older people, especially those no longer able to make the traditional Three-Day Pilgrimage, and to those who for reasons of health or disability, have never been able to visit Lough Derg.

The One-Day Retreat enables many more people to maintain contact with the sacred site at Lough Derg. Visitors are not required to fast or walk barefoot.
